Jaisalmer, throbbing in the heart of the Thar, the burnished sandstone,
is an intricately moulded wonderland. Visit this city of gilded magic with
the magnificient Havelis. People still live in these ancient buildings
dating from 12 to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carving and
filigreed work all over. As the sun sets, the sky goes up in flames & night
decends softly, creating a new monument every evening. |

to Jodhpur. Check in at hotel. Afternoon half day city tour visiting the
Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill, including Moti-mahal
and Phool mahal. Also visit
Jaswant Thada an imposing marble memorium built in 1899 AD and the
museum located in the Umaid public gardens. |
